NAALEHU — Naalehu Public Library patrons were treated to a free blacksmith demonstration on Wednesday. Journeyman Blacksmith Richard “Spike” Blaine and his wife, and assistant, Schaunlee, used a coal forge to heat the metal while apprentice, Ian Bailey and knifemaker, David Brunetta used a propane forge.
